Case study: Child-Friendly Pediatric Tuberculosis Treatment

Prior to 2016, children diagnosed with TB were typically treated with six months of crushed, bitter-tasting, fixed-dosage (FD) combination treatment courses, which necessitated an imprecise “splitting” of the FD pills to approximate appropriate dosages.
