To complement these evaluations, on 27 March 2020, FIND published an open call to partners and laboratories around the world with any performance data on commercially available in vitro diagnostic tests for SARS-CoV-2 that detect nucleic acid, viral antigen or antibodies, to facilitate centralized collection of data as a global public good. These data will help to inform procurement and implementation decisions for countries and health programmes, specifically those with limited capacity to conduct their own independent evaluations.
