Dates announced for McGill Summer Institute 2021
The McGill Summer Institute is pleased to announce our dates for next summer. To safely welcome as many participants as possible, the Summer Institute will be 100% online in 2021.
Join us May 31-June 18, 2021!
The length of the courses varies. Visit the website for the preliminary listing of courses and the exact dates of the courses you are interested in attending.
The McGill Summer Institute continues to focus on the most current best practices, research trends, and implementation science relating to infectious diseases. Staying up-to-date and connected to other infectious disease professionals is especially critical during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Summer Institute will continue to offer courses on TB control, essential diagnostics, antimicrobial stewardship, HIV management, humanitarian action, and clinical updates in tropical medicine. New this year will be a course on COVID-19.
Infectious disease and global health practitioners, as well as students, will find that our 2021 courses will deliver the same high-quality teaching we are known for–in an online format and structure that is professionally designed to be easily accessible and very engaging.
Accessible and Affordable
Same great content, but now offered online. Courses will be delivered with a mix of live and pre-recorded content. Asynchronous learners from all time zones are welcome!
Course faculty will maximize opportunities for participants to interact with fellow participants and speakers.
Online courses expand our reach around the globe–enabling a greater diversity of voices contributing to the teaching and conversations.
We are also passing the savings from venue and catering costs on to all participants. The online costs will be a fraction of the costs of attending in-person.
There has never been a better time to participate in the McGill Summer Institute!
