Development of a workflow that is rapid and field deployable will help in the fight against COVID-19. In this preprint, we show that using portable instruments combined with a rapid sample deactivation method, one can form a field-deployable workflow capable of detecting COVID-19 cases. Diagnosis in a field setup ensures that cases can be detected early, and comprehensive care can be provided anywhere, anytime and to anybody. Lastly, using a mobile clinic, this workflow could be taken to remote locations that don’t have proper facilities or expertise. Enjoy the read here https://www.preprints.org/manuscript/202004.0216/v1
